Diabetes has been described as an epidemic, and the number and percentages of populations with this disease are increasing rapidly. As an early warning solution, DDI will help diagnose and treat this disease as it becomes more of an epidemic.

What DDI does:

DDI provides physicians an advanced means to detect diabetic neuropathy (more). This disease, which often goes undetected effects countless americans. Estimates show that 1/3 of all people born in the US will develop a form of diabetes, and that 1/2 of all diabetic patients will develop some form of neuropathy, and that early detection of this disease is growing ever more important for its sufferers (more).

Due to the inaccurate and cumbersome nature of the current diagnostic tool for detecting neuropathy - the tuning fork - DDI has developed a device that works in conjunction with tools readily available to most physicians to help diagnose neuropathy early (more), and save many people from the harsh consequences that undiagnosed neuropathy creates.
